AI in an hour

An honest hour on what AI can do for your work

Plenty of people have tried an AI tool once, got something odd back, and stopped. Plenty of others use one every day without knowing what they're handing over. This hour is for both.

Justin shows what the tools are good at, the three ways they go wrong, and what never to paste into them. Then you do one real task from your own work, in the tool you already have, while he's there to help.

It's an hour of teaching. The pitch at the end lasts two minutes.

Who it's for

  • Owners and solo professionals who've tried AI once or twice, or not at all
  • Staff who've been told to use AI and want to know where to start
  • Leaders who want to see it work on real tasks before they decide anything
  • Anyone already using AI who wants to know what's safe to paste

What you'll be able to do

  • Explain in plain words what AI tools are good at, and the three ways they go wrong
  • Do one real task from your own work in the tool you already have
  • Start everyday tasks from five prompts that work
  • Keep customer data, card numbers and passwords out of AI, and know why

    Ten minutes, answered live.

    Questions, 8 min

  6. 0:58

    What next, 2 min

You leave with

  • A “never paste this” card
  • A five-prompt starter card
  • $25 credit toward any paid session within 60 days

A session that costs nothing is usually paid for some other way, often with your details. Your $25 makes you the customer, and it comes back: it's credited in full toward any paid session you book within 60 days.

How it works online

  • Live on video with cameras on. Your personal join link arrives by email right after you pay.
  • The link opens Justin's video room 15 minutes before the start. Come a few minutes early to check your sound and camera.
  • If you reload the page or get disconnected, re-open your original link: you will be let back in without waiting.
  • Your link is personal to you. Don't forward it; transfer your seat instead.
  • Bring a laptop with the AI tool you already use, signed in. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot all work, on any plan.
  • Up to 50 people, so questions get answered.

Questions

I've never used AI. Is this too advanced?

No. It starts from what AI is and isn't, in plain language, and the exercise is one task from your own work.

I already use AI every day. Is it worth my hour?

You get the never-paste rules, the starter card and ten minutes of questions with someone who builds AI governance and security platforms. The longer sessions go further, and your $25 comes off them.

Do I need a paid AI plan?

No. Any plan works, on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot.

Which AI tool do I need?

Whichever you already have: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, on any plan. Sessions are vendor-neutral.

What if I can't make it?

This date is inside the 14-day window, so if you can't come you get credit for the full amount toward a later date. Your seat can go to a colleague any time before the session starts. Reply to your confirmation email with their name and email, and they get their own link.

What if not enough people register?

This date is confirmed.

Is it recorded?

No. Sessions are not recorded. Ask the question you'd only ask in the room.

What does the $25 credit cover?

Every $25 intro or webinar comes with a code for $25 off any paid session or private booking of $100 or more, within 60 days.

Who am I paying?

Don't Panic Consulting, Inc. sells every session, invoices for it and takes the payment. Justin Donnaruma is CEO of Don't Panic Consulting, Inc., which sells these sessions, and Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer (CInO) of AOCyber, which builds AI governance and security products. Neither company's products are taught or sold in a session.

Something about the session doesn't work for me.

Email justin@donnaruma.us and say what you need. If the site gets in your way, Justin will help you register another way.

One hour, $25, and the $25 comes back
